| | Yes I am still alive. I finally got some news that is worth sharing. As most of you know I am working for Rite Aid Pharmacy in Placerville. Currently I have been working as a Pharmacy Clerk/Technician-in-Training. I have thoroughly enjoyed the job and have learned a lot. I have gotten to know one of the most influential men in the corporation and he was my boss at the store as my Pharmacy Manager, but he just recently promoted to Pharmacy District Manager of my district. I was so grateful. The old PDM was both old and a big grouch. No one liked him. Anyway, all of that to say, that I have completed my training about a month ago and I needed my final exam which is on computer and so that I could take it and send all of my stuff to the California Board of Pharmacy, and get my Tech license. But since the old PDM was quiting I couldn't get the corp people to upload my test. So anyway, I went to work today and prayed that the test would be there when I checked. I came back from lunch and my new boss, The new PDM's wife, told me that the district trainer had called and said that my test would be there by Friday. Well I was happy enough to hear that but what was better was that when I checked it was already there!!! So I went ahead a took it ...and passed ...I was so happy. Praise the Lord. I still want to take the National Test so I can work out of state if the need comes. But I can finally send all my stuff of to the State of Ca!! The other day I was working with a Pharmacist who had a crazy awesome car. A Corvette Z06 with a 500 HP engine and bright yellow. It was cool. Anyway, on the way out after we closed the RX he asked my if I wanted to drive it. I was so nervous. I killed it right after I started driving. It was a stick and I know how to drive sticks, My truck is a stick but it is a 18 year old truck that drives...well... like a truck. So a car that is so fast and fancy was a wee bit different. But I got the hang of the gears and clutch and we went flying...literally...all over El Dorado county. Good thing the CHP hadn't dispatched to many cruisers... I almost hit 100 MPH!!!! It was so much fun. It drove so nice. I think I'd rather have a GT40 or a Viper. But it was fun. GT 40( below) Corvette Z06 ( the car I drove)
